Pet Adoption Day at the Governor's Mansion

First Lady Marty Kemp is hosting the 2025 Pet Adoption Day and Georgia Grown Festival on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Georgia Governor's Mansion. 

There will be plenty of fall fun for the whole family, complete with animals in need of loving homes and a Georgia Grown Festival on full display! 

The First Lady is partnering with humane societies, rescue organizations, and animal shelters from across the state to help find homes for dogs and cats in need. So far, six Pet Adoption Days have taken place with over 130 dogs, 13 cats, and 1 hamster finding homes!
