Tour the Governor's Mansion

Public Tours

It brings us so much happiness to be able to open the doors of "The People's House" and allow you and your families to create holiday memories here with us during such a special season.

Holiday Tours are Monday, December 5 through Tuesday, December 13. Individuals and groups smaller than ten visitors can register here. Monday through Saturday tours are 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday tours are 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. All visitors need to be registered to attend.

Registration for group (larger than 10 visitors) tours is now closed.

The Mansion Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is Sunday, December 4 at 6 p.m. Registration for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is now closed.

Please note that your belongings will be checked by security upon entering the Governor's Mansion. No backpacks or over-sized bags are allowed inside.

The tour is a hybrid of a guided and self guided tour.  We have docents stationed in each room to teach you about the collection, but you may go from room to room at your own pace.  Many of our docents have volunteered at the Governor's Mansion under several Governors and are as much a part of the tour as the collection itself.
