Welcome Message

Our Fellow Georgians,

Over the past sixteen years, Georgia has experienced unmatched opportunity and economic prosperity. Thanks to the leadership and courage of Governors Sonny Perdue and Nathan Deal, our state weathered the economic downturn and emerged stronger than ever. Wages are on the rise, unemployment rates continue to drop, and the Peach State has been the top spot for business six years in a row.

With low taxes, a business-friendly government, beautiful natural resources, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and the Port of Savannah, we feed the world with Georgia Grown products, lead the nation in aerospace, cyber innovation, and FinTech, and we proudly embrace our “Hollywood of the South” designation.

Georgia’s academic institutions are world-renowned - like our Southern hospitality - and cities like Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, and Savannah have turned into hubs of innovation and investment.

While it is a great time to be a Georgian, we will not rest on our laurels. We must build on our successes, address the challenges ahead, and implement a bold vision for our state to ensure that all citizens – regardless of their zip code – have the opportunity to live, learn, and prosper.

The Kemp Family is truly honored to serve Georgia. In the years to come, we will advance initiatives that spur job growth in all parts of our state, lower taxes and insurance premiums for Georgia families, strengthen rural communities, and keep our children safe. We will invest in education, infrastructure, and healthcare.

Together, we will put hardworking Georgians first and ensure that our best days are always ahead.
