DCH to Provide Long-Term Care Facility COVID-19 Reports

ATLANTA (April 17, 2020) – Beginning April 17, 2020, the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) will provide a long-term care facility COVID-19 report on the homepage of its website under the Latest News section as a public service. These reports will be updated Monday through Friday by 7:00 p.m. Eastern. Please click here to view the DCH website.

The reports will be produced by DCH’s Healthcare Facility Regulation Division (HFRD) and will show the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in licensed nursing homes assisted living communities and personal care homes of 25 beds or more based on data reported by the facilities to DCH as of 2:00 p.m. on that reporting day. If viewed over the weekend or on a Monday prior to 7:00 p.m., the data will reflect the previous Friday’s data. As this situation is fluid, the data is subject to change at any time between reporting times and dates.
