The company will build a new aluminum cups manufacturing plant, creating more than 180 new jobs and investing more than $200 million in the project.

ATLANTA – On October 10th, Governor Brian P. Kemp announced his selection of Charles A. Brooks as Solicitor General of the State Court of Clayton County. Brooks will replace Tasha M. Mosley, Kemp’s pick for Clayton County Judicial Circuit District Attorney following Tracy G. Lawson’s retirement from public office. Brooks has served as Chief Assistant Solicitor of the Clayton County Solicitor General’s Office since 2016.
ATLANTA – On October 10th, Governor Brian P. Kemp announced his selection of J. Matthew Williamson as the new Solicitor General of the State Court of Walker County. Williamson’s appointment fills the vacancy created by Chris Townley’s recent resignation. In accepting this appointment, Williamson will leave his current role as Legal and Policy Director for Walker County.

Atlanta, GA – The State of Georgia’s net tax collections in September totaled roughly $2.25 billion for an increase of $15.7 million, or 0.7 percent, compared to last year when net tax collections totaled $2.23 billion.
