Atlanta, GA – On Friday, November 22nd, Governor Brian P. Kemp conducted swearing-in ceremonies for four (4) appointees to serve on various state boards, councils, and agencies.

 

Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia

Rachel Little currently serves as a senior paralegal for the Animal Health division of Boehringer Ingelheim, a global pharmaceutical company. She received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Georgia State University, and she is a graduate of the Leadership Gwinnett Program. Little currently serves on the Citizens Advisory Board for Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful. Previously, Governor Deal appointed her to serve on the board of directors of the Georgia Department of Driver Services and the Immigration Enforcement Review Board, where she served in the role of vice chair. Little is active in local, state, and national politics, holding various leadership positions. She and her husband, Bill, live in Loganville with their two dogs, Cooper and Riley.

Peace Officer and Standards Training Council

David Earl Keith serves the City of Jesup as mayor. He graduated from Armstrong State University with a bachelor's degree in General Business, and has been a State Farm insurance agent for over twenty years. He and his wife live in Jesup, and they have two children.

Criminal Case Data Exchange Board

Jerronney Darrisaw is a county commissioner in Johnson County. He served in the U.S. Army as part of the 304th Signal Battalion, and he was awarded the Army Defense Medal, the Marksmanship Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal for his service. Darrisaw and his wife live in Wrightsville, and they have four children.

Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency

Dr. Laudis Hendrick (Rick) Lanford is the North Central District Superintendent of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church, senior law enforcement captain for Homeland Security, and chaplain for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Department of Natural Resources, and the Bibb/Monroe Sheriff's Office. He received an associate's degree from Oxford College, a bachelor's degree from Emory University, a Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology, and a Doctorate of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary. Dr. Lanford and his wife reside in Juliette.
