Atlanta, GA – This morning Governor Brian P. Kemp, First Lady Marty Kemp, and their daughters welcomed home members of the Georgia National Guard's 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team as they returned to Hunter Army Airfield from their deployment in Afghanistan.

"It was truly an honor to welcome home the brave men and women of the Georgia National Guard's 48th Brigade this morning," said Governor Brian Kemp. "We are forever grateful for the service and sacrifice of these heroes, and because of their efforts, we remain a unified nation of freedom and justice. Our family continues to give thanks and pray for the safe return of the service men and women defending our nation across the globe."
